After breakfast, visit Hagia Sophia, which remains one of the greatest architectural marvels in the World. Explore the Hippodrome, which was once the scene of horse and chariot races and the centre of Byzantine civic life. Proceed to the Blue Mosque, famous for its six minarets and blue Iznik tiles. After lunch, visit Topkapi Palace, imperial residence of the Sultan and his court, and the seat of government for the Ottoman Empire. Last stop will be Grand Bazaar.
ISTANBUL – CAPPADOCIA (B)
After an early breakfast, we are transferred to Ataturk airport for our flight to Kayseri.
Today, our first stop will be Devrent Valley to see the unique fairy chimneys. We will continue our tour with Pasabagi (Monk’s Valley) to see the mushroom-shaped pinnacles. After lunch, we will visit Goreme Open Air Museum where you can see the remains of rock-cut churches and Christian settlements. The site is in “UNESCO World Heritage List” since 1985.

After breakfast, start with a gentle walk through the unique volcanic rock formations and rock-cut houses at Red & Rose Valleys. Visit the old Christian Village of Cavusin, followed by lunch and then an excursion to Pigeon Valley. In the afternoon, visit Kaymakli underground city, which sheltered local Christians from Arab invaders. On our way back, we will visit Ortahisar town.
CAPPADOCIA – KONYA – PAMUKKALE (B)
Today, we will make a long and a scenic drive to Pamukkale. First, we drive to Konya stopping by Seljuk Sultanhani Caravanserai on the way. We will also visit the Mausoleum of Mevlana, the mystic Persian poet and founder of the Order of the Whirling Dervishes, famous for its Sufi dance known as Sama ceremony. Arrive in Pamukkale. Pamukkale means “Cotton Castle” in Turkish language because the city is famous for its travertines, terraces of carbonate minerals. Dinner and overnight at our Pamukkale hotel.
HIERAPOLIS – KUSADASI (B)
Today, we visit Hierapolis, famous spa center of the ancient world. Our tour will include the Necropolis, Avenue of Tombs, Gates, Thermal Baths, Devil’s Hole and the Masterpiece Theater. After the tour, drive to our Kusadasi hotel for overnight.
After breakfast, we drive to Selcuk to visit the House of the Virgin Mary, widely accepted as where the mother of Christ spent her final years. Travel to the fabled city of Ephesus, to visit the Temple of Artemis, once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, which dates from the third century BC. ,the Theatre, Roman Latrines and Baths as well as the Library of Celsus. Overnight in our Kusadasi hotel.
PERGAMON – TROY (B)
After breakfast, drive to the hauntingly beautiful city of Pergamon. where we’ll visit the famous Acropolis with all its monuments – the site of the Altar of Zeus and the birthplace of books. Continue to ancient city of Troy which dates to 3000 BC, with nine successive civilisations building and rebuilding until the first century BC. All these layers are revealed as you tour the ruins around the extensive site. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
GALLIPOLI – ISTANBUL (B)
Today, we travel to the Gallipoli Battlefields in a luxury vehicle, and tour the key sites including Kabatepe War Museum, Anzac Cove, original tunnels and trenches at Johnston Jolly, the Nek Cemetery, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial, Lone Pine Australian Memorial and Brighton Beach. Drive to Istanbul for overnight.
DEPARTURE FROM ISTANBUL (B)
After breakfast you will have free time shopping in Istanbul until our transfer to Ataturk airport for your flight home.
